Dear Reader,
If you are arrested on suspicion of DUI, the officer will likely inform you regarding Colorado’s express consent law. When you applied for your license you expressly gave your consent to submit to either a blood test or breath test should you be arrested for DUI or DWAI.
I prefer a blood test to a breath test. A blood test result is a direct reading of the alcohol present in your blood. A breath test uses a complicated formula to determine your blood alcohol content. I prefer a direct reading as opposed to an indirect attempt at extrapolation. I believe that a blood test can be far more accurate than a breath test. So something to consider.
If you are arrested for DUI we can help. Call me at (303) 753-0900. Let’s chat.
